Indie35 - Film Look With Your MiniDV/HDV Camera
|
Indie35 is a static 35mm lens adapter that helps you achieve a professional film look on any DV or HDV camera. |
The
Indie35 team is happy to introduce to you a brand new
depth-of-field adapter that mounts 35mm SLR camera lenses to a DV/HDV
camera. Our product family includes a wide range of camera and lens mounts plus several add-ons for effective results both in the field and in a studio setting. You can experience the change of impression that Indie35 creates in our video & image gallery.

|
|
When buying the Indie35 lens adapter, there are few things to consider:
1. What is the lens filter thread size on Your camera?
|
Be sure to choose the correct camera mount (they are labeled by
camera's filter thread size, also marked on the front of Your camera).
The supported cameras are listed here. If Your camera is not listed on our site, this doesn't necessarily mean that Your camera will not work with Indie35. |
If Your camera has a filter
thread of 43mm, 52mm, 58mm or 72mm then that camera will mount to
Indie35.
2. What is Your camera's minimum focusing distance (MFD)?
All cameras with MFD of less that 100mm mount straight onto the Indie35
adapter. If the MFD of Your camera is more than that (as in DVX100, for
example), You will need a third party diopter lens in-between the
camera and Indie35.
3. What SLR lens(es) do You have?
Indie35 will soon support a wide range of different SLR mounts, including Canon EF, Leica,
Nikon and Oct-19. At the moment we are only offering LensMount/M42.
4. What else?
|
Well, that's about it. However, we do recommend our simple rack system to support the camera & the adapter. It's important to note, that
the adapter core of Indie35 is the same in all configurations, so if
You'll be switching to another camera (or type of lens), You'll only
need to update the appropriate mounts.
|
5. Purchasing process.
First You'll have to register yourself at Indie35.com. Then follow the required steps during
the purchasing process, it's quick and simple! See also About Shopping, Shipping and Taxes.
And feel free to ask in our forum.
Good luck!
Indie35 Team
